The Tru-flex Cushion system incorporated into the Tru-flex coating is a surface that was developed in America many years ago. It is generally regarded as one of the finest cushion systems available world wide. As many as nine cushion coats (12 coats all together) give an excellent cushion system for tired legs.

Tru-flex cushion coats shall be applied to the playing area. The Tru-flex cushion is an acrylic cushion coat consisting of rubber particles and fillers carefully blended with an acrylic emulsion to create a cushion type of coloured surface when used as part of the Tru-flex system. The Tru-flex surface has a pleasing, uniform texture and adds resilience to an asphalt or concrete surface. The Tru-flex cushion is available in the same colour as the companion products in the Tru-flex colour coating system. The surface is not affected by heat or cold and possesses a high degree of breathing ability, enabling normal moisture to pass up through a vapour, without causing any rupturing of the colour surface.

The Tru-flex cushion is rapidly becoming the number one playing surface throughout the world. Literally tens of thousands of courts have adopted the Tru-flex cushion system. Applied as a figure 8 over the playing area, this surface has the combined effect of not only playing extremely well but being soft underfoot.
